The Waterloo Tigers Black 16U girls team had a challenging weekend in Division 2. They opened the tournament with a loss but pounced back winning the next two matches. Their Saturday was very successful – winning three consecutive matches. However, on Sunday in the playoffs, they ran into a tough opponent in the quarterfinal match.  Full details of their matches can be found on ISET.NET.

The Waterloo Tigers Red 16U girls team found success this weekend in Division 4. They opened the tournament with a shaky start only winning one of three matches. Their Power Pool Saturday was equally shaky winning only one of three matches.  However, on Sunday in the playoffs, they were forced to a third set in the quarterfinals against North Simcoe Wolves and prevailed. That win gave them a boost in the semifinals against Titanium Green – winning in two sets. In the championship match, the Tigers faced a team they lost too on Saturday – Kawartha Krushers. The Tigers dominated the sets and were successful in claiming a gold medal. Full results are posted on ISET.NET.

The Waterloo Tigers 17U boys team were ranked 9th in Ontario heading into the weekend. They faced two PACMEN teams and Durham Attack – three very strong teams in the province. The opening day was a difficult one and although the matches were very competitive, the Tigers were unable to claim a match. Their Power Pool Saturday was equally challenging, and our Tigers found a way to win all three matches. Unfortunately, our Tigers were forced to face PACMEN Black the quarterfinal match on Sunday and were beat 25-20, 25-23. Full results are posted on ISET.NET.
